Tower of Terror summary: Five people walk into an elevator, but something goes very wrong. The elevator collapses 11 floors and the five people roam around the hotel as ghosts. 60 years later, reporter Buzzy (Steve Guttenberg) and his niece Anna (Kirsten Dunst) are trying to find out the mystery of the hotel. An old lady named Abigail tells them that if they find a belonging of each person on the elevator they will be free from the hotel.
Frozen + I bet you thought that was gonna be about a boy.
See I think this is exactly why people throw out that hyperbole that Frozen is “the first Disney movie that’s about family” or “the first Disney movie that isn’t about a guy.” Because of course every Disney fan knows that isn’t true. There’s some great Disney movies about family (like Lilo and Stitch for example). But here’s the thing - Frozen is the first movie that continually makes you think that it was going to be about a guy and then just goes HAHA NOPE. And that’s why I think some people jump to say it was the ‘first movie about family’ because it tricked them into thinking it was going to be a completely different movie.
My favorite thing about Frozen is that the plot is literally just two sisters learning to understand each other’s perspective and then a little bit of Disney redefining its message about what kinds of relationships we should strive for.
